Showdown

"This, my friends,is a strong team. I am staking a claim to the 2001 Seattle "Best Regular Season Team" memorial trophy :) ~ Killer Crabs"
Entering week 19, four teams had established themselves as clear front runners to make the playoffs. One of these four, White Lines, rode a six game win streak over which he averaged 478 pts per contest between weeks eleven and fifteen, to a lead in the Coastie's division. The Killer Crabs immediately answered with a five game win streak of their own, averaging a ridiculous 533 pts per match up, culminating with a win over rival Miami to take command of the Coasties.

Next up for The Crabs is Boston Gently, who has quietly reigned over the Yanks all season long. A win in week 20 would clinch the division title for The Crabs. Gently needs to win all his remaining games to do the same, which is a stiff assignment as he will have to defeat two of the league's best teams to get it done.
